Hello, from Maryland!

I’m typing these words from what’s now our new home state in the USA:Maryland!

If you’ve been following my stories on Instagram, you’ll probably know about our surprise move.

Only 6 months ago, our family of 4 moved from Australia to Phoenix, AZ (USA).

But the universe had other plans for us, and not long after that, an opportunity in Washington D.C. for my hubby opened up, and the universe spoke loud and clear: this was our path to choose.

Hence the reason why I haven’t been around the last few weeks.

I don’t know about you, but I most definitely had other plans for the first half of 2023, and these last months have been the ultimate lesson on surrender, acceptance and trust: this is exactly what’s meant to happen.

Our move isn’t totally over; we’re entering the new house in 5 weeks, but I could not wait to be back here and BE in this space with you all.

These times of transition, being a solo parent for many weeks and dressing with what fits in 1 suitcase, many others have brought a lot of self-discovery and many downloads I could not wait to share with you.

The first one that comes to mind is the concept of looking at your closet as a Sanctuary.

What do you mean, Alma?I’ve been reflecting for a while on the fact that I see your closet as a space to pay tribute to who you truly are, from the way your soul wants to be expressed to the beautiful lines of your sacred body.

Think about it:

When we choose to include ONLY pieces in our closet that honour our truth from the inside out…

We’ll end up with a space designed to SEE us no matter how we feel every single day.

Packing a suitcase with clothes to be worn for many weeks, I realised that, had I not been following my principles of:

👉🏻 Investing in quality pieces

👉🏻 Choosing pieces that SEE my highest self

👉🏻 Add only garments that ignite true excitement to wear…

I would have gone shopping the week after we arrived at each location. But that did not happen.

So, today, I will just leave you with this concept.Your wardrobe as a Sanctuary. And I would LOVE to hear what feelings this idea sparks within you!

Remember my dear:

“It’s not what you wear, but how you feel when you wear it.”

What choices are you making towards creating that sanctuary of yours?

Sending so much love, light and Style Power,

XX
